External Refurbishment


This project involved the comprehensive redevelopment and extension of a traditional terraced property in Fulham, transforming it into a high-specification six-bedroom family home. The scheme significantly increased the property’s footprint to approximately 2,271 sq ft through the construction of a new reinforced concrete basement, a double rear extension, and a loft conversion.


The works included major structural alterations, underpinning, waterproofing, and the installation of structural steel to create open-plan living spaces. Internally, the property was fully reconfigured to deliver a modern layout, incorporating five marble bathrooms, a bespoke kitchen, a cinema room, a utility space, and a dedicated plant room, alongside full MEP installations.


Key challenges included the basement construction beneath an existing terraced structure, restricted site access, and the integration of multiple extensions. These were successfully managed through phased underpinning, detailed logistics planning, and close coordination between the design and construction teams.


The completed development maximises the site’s potential while maintaining the character of the original building, delivering a high-quality, luxury home tailored to the prime Fulham residential market.
